Jeanie Marie Buss has been an American Entrepreneur for more than 20 years. she is the current president and controlling owner of Los Angeles Lakers in the National Basketball Association. Buss hails originally from California, was raised in an extremely wealthy family. Jerry Buss was her father. Jerry Buss started out as a realty tycoon, after which he later became the owner of the Lakers. In the event that her parents divorced in 1972, she believed they'd left her. At the age 19 she became the general manager for the Los Angeles Strings, a professional tennis club. Later, she founded an organization called the Los Angeles Blades, a professional team of roller hockey. She was the president at the Great Western Forum, before becoming Vice president for the Lakers. Buss her father passed away in 2013, as did the Lakers were inherited from him by her and five of her siblings through an inheritance trust. Each of the siblings had equally many votes.
