Summer Glau, an American actor, is most well-known for her roles as River Tam and Cameron in Firefly. Sarah Connor Chronicles. In addition to these films, she also appeared on the series The 4400 The Unit The Cape Arrow Sequestered and Angel Cold Case The Big Bang Theory Chuck as well as co-starring in the popular series Hawaii Five-0. She has also acted in TV shorts and films including Mammoth, The Initiation of Sarah Deadly Honeymoon as well as Help for the holidays Dead End and Inside the Box. Glau was awarded numerous distinctions and awards. She has been twice featured as one of the 100 Sexiest Women of the World by FHM and also included on The Wizard Magazine's list for the Sexiest Women of TV. Glau was also named one of the Sexiest Women on TV by Wizard magazine. American beauty also received an appearance on Magazine Maxim's Hot 100 list. Glau took home the SFX Award as Best Actress in Serenity. Her performance in the film Terminator The Sarah Connor Chronicles earned her The Saturn Award for Best Supporting Actress. Selena Quintanilla......................Selena was born April 16 1971 in Corpus Christi Texas . The third child of Marcela Quintanilla and Abraham Quintanilla. When Selena was eight, she started working in a group founded by her dad. It was made up of Selena and her younger siblings Abraham junior who played the base guitar and sister Suzette playing drums as well as Selena was the vocalist of the band. Selena Y Los Dino was the name of her band and Selena was a singer with other siblings in bars, restaurants and wedding celebrations. It was a lot of busy for Selena as well as her siblings, and they never had much of their own childhood. They were encouraged to become dedicated musicians because of determination from the father Abraham. Abraham senior was also a musician with the group that first formed, Los Dinos. Selena Y Los Dinos were first officially formed in the year 1981. It was a joint venture between the Quintanilla family and the major source of income for the family. Quintanilla's family persevered through the initial years of financial difficulties. Their patience would eventually pay off by the late 1980's Selena Y Los Dinos gained notoriety in the west. In 1986 the band received their first taste of fame as Selena got awards for Female Vocalist of the Year as well as Performer of the Year at the Tejano music awards. Selena Y Los Dinos became known and celebrated after this point. They were on numerous Spanish programming on television including El Show De Johnny Canales Siempre En Domingo and Sabado Gigante.
