Aaliyah Daniel Haughton exploded to fame in 1994 after the release of her first album Age Ain't Nothing But a Numer. The album was Gold at the age of fifteen years old. The collaboration was heavily influenced by R. Kelly, and put the singer in the spotlight. In 1996, Jermaine and Timbaland came out with Aaliyah's sophomore album One In A Million. It featured If Your Girls Only Knew the most-sold single. Aaliyah achieved international recognition for her R&B songs on the release of this album. She has also appeared in Leverage, Suits, Grey's Anatomy and Grey's Anatomy. The actress has been featured in commercials for big companies like the international auto manufacturer Volvo. She is currently working on her acting career in Los Angeles, where she lives with her daughter and husband.
